The Circle B Ranch, first owned by Jay and Betty Baldwin, opened its chuckwagon doors in the summer of 1976. After Jay's death in 1991, Betty ran the chuckwagon until 1995, when the Horn family bought it. The Horns continued the tradition of cowboy music and western hospitality until the spring of 2004, when they moved to Branson , Missouri to open up a second Circle B Chuckwagon.

Dale and Kathy Lawson took over the reins summer of 2004. Dale and his three sons, noted for their beautiful harmonies, sing in a style similar to the Sons of the Pioneers. They now perform Monday through Saturday, from Memorial Day weekend through September, as the "Circle B Cowboys". Dale, head wrangler and sheriff, sings and plays acoustical guitar and harmonica. Nick plays bass guitar and is their lead singer. Todd sings harmony and plays mandolin. Zach plays lead guitar and sings. Kathy runs the business part of the ranch and makes sure that their guests have an enjoyable evening. It is truly a family business. "We have always enjoyed doing things together as a family, and when this opportunity came at the Circle B Ranch, it just seemed a perfect fit for us," says Dale.
